When you meet Tim for the first time you'll find a person with many passions, and a consummate professional. His knowledge of property development and new house construction is matched only by his knowledge of historic homes (which he and his wife like to buy and restore in their spare time). Tim also operates the St. Margaret's Bay branch office for Tradewinds Realty, alongside a successful oceanfront tourism rental business in Indian Harbour called Two Historic Cottages By The Sea.Born and raised in Montreal, Tim had his entrepreneurial beginnings in an apartment overlooking Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour, where at the ripe young age of nineteen he hatched a plan to finance his year off from Dalhousie University by starting an expatriate-staffed decorating company. Called Expaints, the company grew faster than Tim or anybody else had ever expected, and within nine months Tim was able to sell it and earn enough money to pay his way through university.Upon their return to Nova Scotia Tim's wife continued her career as a professional kitchen designer, while Tim changed course and became an established real estate agent. Nowadays if you don't find him working in his branch office in Indian Harbour, he's probably either out showing a property, or bringing an old home back to life!!
