Phil and his wife, Phyllis, have six children and twelve grandchildren between them. Phil came to Waterwood in 1972 and was active in the surveying and engineering aspects of Waterwood. He established his management and real estate businesses in Waterwood in 1982. They are both members of the Coldspring United Methodist Church and the Chamber of Commerce.
