Longtime McMinnville-Sheridan resident Holly Nelson was named Pete Anderson Realty's Oregon Coast 2005 Realtor of the year April 20 at the annual meeting held in Manzanita, Oregon. Nelson was named top producer of the Portland-based company's coastal offices ranging from Astoria to Lincoln City. Nelson is based in the Pacific City office with her husband Rick Nelson. She went to work for PAR in November 2001 after working at the Oregon State Capitol as Legislative Assistant to Representative Donna Nelson of McMinnville. Nelson credits her business and communications success to her OSU education, time spent at the McMinnville News-Register and years spent under the auspices of CEO and owner Del Smith, Evergreen International Aviation and Donna Nelson, retired Senior Vice President, EIA of McMinnville.
