Julie was licensed in 1984 and has lived on Kauai since 1976. She graduated from Santa Monica High School, Kauai Community College, the University of Hawaii of Manoa and is a graduate of the Realtors Institute, GRI. In 2001 Julie was awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation by the Council of Residential Specialists. Her other accomplishments include; past membership chair of the Kauai Board of Realtors, 1992 Education Chairmen for the Kauai Board of Realtors Education Planning Committee. A past member of the Board of Realtors Grievance Committee and is currently on the Board of Directors . Julie is married to Milton (Jojo) Caspillo of Kapaa and has two daughters Kela and Leilani.
