On normal years the owners usually sell 200+/- ton of hay. Bar MB ranch regularly irrigates over 300 acres. There is a 600 ft deep well that currently pumps +/-550 GPM. This is the maximum pumping capacity of the pump as well as the amount of groundwater rights permitted for this well. When the well was first drilled and the drillers had their higher capacity pumps on the well, it pumped 1300 GPM consistently for most of the day. This water would likely be accessible through installation of a larger pump, and subject to approval and appropriate permits by the Idaho Dept of Water Resources. Bar M B Ranch owns 88 A shares (88 acre ft), and 56 B shares (56 acre ft) of Crane Creek Reservoir Independent Water Users Company, Inc. B shares are available so long as reservoir capacity remains above 45,800 acre feet. Reservoir capacity is 52,000 acre feet. On a normal year the reservoir drops below this level in late July or August. There are also 14 other spring/stream stock water rights. Crane Creek Reservoir is owned & maintained by Crane Creek Reservoir Independent Water Users Company, Inc. Reservoir users may Fish, boat, water-ski, etc. Bar MB Ranch borders Crane Creek Reservoir across the entire north side-a total of over 4 miles of reservoir frontage. There are several good building sites along the North-west shore of the reservoir with fantastic views and a great place for a private beach. Stock ponds- With the reservoir and an abundance of well-distributed stock ponds, the Bar MB Ranch is very well-watered. The ranch leases two areas. One is a State of Idaho lease for 160 acres and one is from the Crane Creek Reservoir Irrigation District for 99 year lease on the backwaters area of the reservoir.
